The release of the 2021 Exhibition Program at Melbourne’s Centre for Contemporary Photography was much anticipated here at NHO. The annual Ilford CCP Salon kicks off proceedings; Australia’s largest photo media competition supported by our friends at Milieu Property. Drawing entries from over 450 emerging and established artists across the country, the diversity of works is a true spectacle of photomedia artistic practice. Other highlights include Ruth Maddison’s solo show ‘It was the best of times, it was the worst of times’, and group show ‘This searing light, filtered for shadows’, thoughtfully curated by Jack Willet. We’ll see you there. Photography: Equal pay demo, Bourke Street Melbourne (Ruth Maddison, 1985), courtesy of CCP.
