We are fascinated by the work of Charlotte Perriand, so we were more than a little jealous to discover Londoners will enjoy a retrospective exhibition of her work at the Design Museum this summer. Oh to travel once more! ⁠

Charlotte Perriand: The Modern Life celebrates the style and spirit of the designer, whose pioneering interiors and furniture designs shaped the 20th century. The exhibition invites visitors to step inside recreations of Perriand’s most famous interiors, enjoy furniture pieces up close – such as the iconic Chaise Longue Basculante (pictured), and take a glimpse of Perriand’s sketches, photographs, scrapbooks and prototypes, offering new insight into her unique creative process. ⁠ ⁠
