Holcim Foundation Awards
23.10.24

We’re excited to be working with the Holcim Foundation on a digital marketing campaign for its 2025 Awards program – the world’s most significant competition for sustainable design, now accepting submissions. With a USD 1M prize pool, to be eligible projects must be client-supported and at late design phase or already under construction.

Truly global, the awards champion projects in five regions worldwide, elevating standards in sustainable design, and independently judged by a team of globally significant practitioners including Lina Ghotmeh, Sou Fujimoto, and Kjetil Trædal Thorsen.

The legacy of the Awards is impressive, and many winners have gone on to gain greater international acclaim, including New York’s BIG U Dryline by Bjarke Ingels Group and One Architecture, Pritzker Prize-winning Diébédo Francis Kéré’s Gando Primary School in Burkina Faso, and most recently, London’s landmark Natural History Museum Gardens.

Open to all, entry is free, with submissions due by 11 February 2025.

The Holcim Foundation for Sustainable Construction is an independent non-profit organisation based in Zurich, Switzerland, whose mission is to support people who are change accelerators for sustainable construction. In addition to its flagship Awards program, first conducted in 2004, the Foundation partners with academics and industry-leading practitioners to create educational opportunities and organises events to facilitate the exchange of ideas and best practices.
